One of my favorite things about homeschooling my kids is our weekly outings. We call them fieldtrips...some are educational, some are just for fun. We had a beautiful fall day last week, so I decided we would get in one last trip to the skate park before the winter weather sets in. The great thing about homeschooling is that you can go places when everyone else is not there. I don't think we would last two minutes in the skate park when it is full of teenagers. However, we went when everyone was in school and had the park to ourselves. The kids brought a bike, a scooter, rollerblades, and a little ride on toy. What a blast!!

Have a great day,

Carrie,
I love your new blog look :) I really enjoy seeing all our family fun and how much Lily has grown.
Tina
That does look like fun. Where is it? GH?
Love the new look of your blog, btw. It's all blogtastic and blogfessional looking.
GREAT family picture! I never think to take other "toys" to the skate park - maybe then we could all enjoy. We are still planning a trip to Antigua in Feb. What about your family?
Meghan
I just found your blog !!!!!!!! What a beautiful family. COurtney
Here it comes.
God love you for homeschooling!! I am a public school teacher and I couldn't imagine trying to teach my own children. You are one strong man. Your family is beautiful!!
p.s. V led me to you blog :)
Hey, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for taking such great care of Ray's mom! You're the best!
Hey, thanks for saving Ray's mom. So nice of you to do. And you have a nice looking family.
Yes, thank you for keeping Ray's mom's blood all safe and warm. (I have no clue how you do that exactly, but I'm pretty sure it involves a lot of mad skills.)
P.S. Your family is lovely!!!!
(sorry, that was me with the deleted comment...there was a gargantuan typo, of which a writery type like myself could not live with:>)
thanks for keeping ray's mom's blood running & warm!
oh yeah--loved the pics of your family
Great pics and family! Thanks for taking such good care of my Mom(Rays too I guess) blood and lungs!
We wanted only the best, and my bro says that's you. THANKS!
P.S. Be mean to Ray once in awhile, otherwise, he kinda gets a big head :)
Okay, that's probably it. Might be a couple stragglers. Anyhow, a huge thanks once more. I know I don't have to tell you this, but you have the kind of job that truly makes a big impact in people's lives. And your work is appreciated.
(even if you do blow it off from time-to-time and take naps when you should be pumping)
What a great-looking tribe!
And yeah, thanks for keeping Ray's Mom's blood warm. ;)
Thanks for taking good care of Ray's Mom :-)
How awesome to put in weekly outings into your kids' homeschooling. I've never gone to a skate park during the day. That would be a blast!
Okay, BPV just called me a straggler, but still. What an adorable family!
Ray's sister here, and one of three offspring directly benefitting from your crazy mad skills at the bypass machine. Thank you very much for the dutiful execution of your job. We all truly appreciate your contribution. Now, do you think we could hook that bypass machine up to my husband's anal output device and direct the scent-orrific fumes directly up his own nose? He is completely and utterly derelict in the execution of any degree whatsoever of anal control!!!
BTW, love the pics of the family out on a day of fun and "learning." Perhaps we should all take a day out for that kind of "learning" once in a while!
HUBBYMAN HERE (HUSBAND TO VEEFLOWER, STEP-DAD TO BIG PLAIN V, BUNNYJO GEORG, AND SHORTENSWEET). I, TOO, NEED TO PUT IN A BIG THANKS TO YOU AND EVERYONE WHO HAD A HELPING HAND IN GIVING MY WIFE ANOTHER 40 OR 50 YEARS. THAT GIVES MY LIFE MEANING.
YOUR FAMILY LOOKS HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND LOTS OF FUN --- JUST LIKE OURS!! I'M GLAD YOU CAN ENJOY THEM AT EVERY OPPERTUNITY.
LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!!
